Forest Green stay firmly fixed at the top of the table after a comfortable 8-2 victory at Frampton A. Olly Tyndall again scored three wins for the visitors while Bob Murray scored both the points for Frampton including a rare win against Dave Harvey. On the same night at the same venue Phoenix B defeated Frampton B 6-4 with Liwu Wei scoring a max for the visitors and Simon Philp getting his scoring off the ground with a brace for Frampton. Woodchester B defeated Phoenix A 8-2 thanks to maximums from Clive Ellison and Tony Clarkson.
Whiteshill A hold top spot in division 2 after a 6-4 victory at Nailsworth A thanks to a maximum from Steve Greening. Randwick A maintained their good form while beating the visiting Woodchester C 9-1 thanks to maximums from Steve Charlwood and George Evans. Forest Green B and Pessimists couldn’t be separated, sharing the points at five all. Thornbury B narrowly defeated the visiting Whiteshill B 6-4 thanks to a max from Mark Attwood.
Cam A sit at the top of division three having come away from Randwick C with an 8-2 victory with Alex Yeung going unbeaten. Phoenix D are sticking close after inflicting a whitewash on local rivals Forest Green C with Craig Mills, John Catterall and Andy Hammond all undefeated. Phoenix F lost 4-6 at home to Woodchester D who had Roger Davis to thank with a max.
A hat trick from Tony Averis ensured Cam B stay in top spot after defeating their C team club mates 8-2. Phoenix G kept up the pressure defeating Frampton D 9-1, with Chris Hampton and Cliff Jordan going unbeaten on the night. Phoenix H and Phoenix J shared the points at 5 all with Matt Hawkins man of the match for the H team with a maximum. Randwick E left Nailsworth B with a 7-3 victory thanks to Tom Gill and Tirian Jakes going undefeated. Phoenix I lost 2-8 at home to Forest Green D for whom Richard Wright scored a max.
