Thornbury A take an early lead in the division with a convincing 10-0 victory at Frampton B. Dave Reeves, Emily Standing and Ian Maggs were all unbeaten for the visitors. Yate move into second place after a five all draw at Frampton A. In the other matches, Phoenix A visited Cirencester and returned 6-4 winners thanks to a Simon Ward maximum. And Woodchester B went down 2-8 at home to Forest Green A for whom there were maximums from Dave Harvey and Olly Tyndall.
Whiteshill A have already started to pull away at the top of the division after defeating Randwick A 7-3 at home with Rupert Harris scoring a maximum. Declan Fardon made a welcome return for the visitors winning a brace.
Andy Stratford made a winning return for Phoenix C scoring a max and helping his side to an 8-2 win over local rivals Nailsworth A. Gavin Rogers scored a max for Thornbury B in a five all draw at home to Frampton C.
Phoenix E and D are going well at the top of the division, with the E team defeating the visiting Thornbury C with a strong team performance and the D team winning 6-4 at Whiteshill C with Andy Hammond scoring a maximium. Cam A got back on track as maximums from Harry Prescott and Brian Mc Neill gave them victory over Randwick B 9-1. Forest Green C lost 1-9 at home to Woodchester D, Colin Bruton and Mike Hanks both unbeaten. And Roger Dickenson scored a max for Randwick C when they won 8-2 at Phoenix F.
Paul Stewart scored a max for Cam B when they visited Phoenix G, winning 7-3 and keeping his side at the top of the table. Richard Wright scored a max as his Forest Green D team lost away to Phoenix H 4-6 and Mike May scored a max for Nailsworth B when they defeated Phoenix I 6-4 away. Tom Gill maintained his 100% record when his Randwick E held Cam C to a five all draw.
