An outstanding performance from Alex Boyd helped Stratford 'A' to a narrow 6-4 victory at previously unbeaten Snitterfield. A double booking put the match in doubt with the indoor bowls match having set up camp in the space usually used for table tennis . Boyd claimed a treble which included impressive victory's over highly ranked John Price and Steve Cull . Kannan Nithi provided valuable support with 2 wins , just missing out on his own maximum losing out to Steve Cull narrowly in a deciding 5th set. Richard Grover took Stratford over the winning line with victory over Alison Stewart. Snitterfield's points came courtesy of Steve Cull 2 , John Price 1 and the pair combined to take the doubles.
