Henley faced Shottery B at home last night. They arrived as a team of two plus  injured Tim Fell who entertained us with his wisdom and character, not to mention a delightful pack of chocolate bars. We are also grateful to Tim for scoring games and adding some welcome heat to our freezing venue.The visitors were determined their reduced numbers would not unduly affect the outcome. Both Tony Remes and Gareth Hepworth being on good form. Although Peter Quince got the better of Tony Remes in an exciting contest, and Nigel Payne dispatched Tony fairly easily in three. Dave Hatcher narrowly missed a hard fought victory to long standing rival Tony after fading to a 11-7 loss in the fifth. Under the circumstances Henley were pleased their 5-5 draw..
