Henley put on a poor show last night when Shottery A paid them a visit. Despite promises to clean up their act, and polish up their performance, it was more a case of wiping the floor FOR the opposition than wiping the floor WITH them. Ha!
I am of course referring to the sad state of the sports hall which is still very much refurbs-in-progress.
Through clouds of dust, Shottery put on a sparkling performance producing an emphatic 0-10 score line. Nigel Payne took Stephen Foster to a 5th game before a dramatic fade at the end and a game to NIL victory in the second. Yes, you did read that right! Geoff Shepherd also managed to wrestle a single game from Stephen.
