Troopers sent a ‘novice’ team of father and son Jim and Henry Clarke and Piotr Penczkowski. Vets had rookie Neil Mudie,David Higgins and yours truly. A thoroughly entertaining evening with the visitors having the edge throughout. I managed to win two five setters against young Henry and Piotr. The doubles went to the father and son pairing . This team is holding back Jack Davis and another good player ready for the better teams. Vets missing Pete Rodwell with shoulder problem and David Wye who is ill.
