Medals GaloreOne of our members, Maggie Gambrill, returned from 17th World Transplant Games Championships held in Australia in 2009. There were some 2,000 athletes from around 50 countries taking part in various sporting events over 9 days.  She was one of 150 transplant athletes representing the UK.  The team won a total of 226 medals.  Maggie's contribution was two golds (Badminton & Table Tennis Doubles). one silver (Badminton Singles) and one bronze (Table Tennis Singles) and she dedicated them to her donor and family.  She adds these to the gold medal she won for table tennis at the 16th World Transplant Games Championships, held in Bangkok, Thailand in 2007.

Maggie extends her grateful thanks to her fellow members for their generous support at her fund raising Quiz night in March 2009.  Their efforts helped make the experience of a lifetime possible.

Maggie is keen to see the St Neots Table Tennis Club thrive, not only for her own personal development but, more importantly, for the benefit of the Club's membership and the local community as a whole.
