New Club Venue a roaring success
First evening

Table Tennis in Winchester took a great leap forward last week with the opening of the new club at The Westgate School, Cheriton Road.  Run by the well established South Wonston Table Tennis Club, this new venture brings the sport closer to more people. This proved the case when over 50 juniors and adults turned up for coaching and open play at the first sessions.

Head Coach Paddy Shephard, was pleased with the initial success and is looking to build on it for the future.  The beginners session (6.30 - 8pm on Thursdays) is still open to bookings for children in years 4 to 6.  The older age group meets 8 - 9.30pm and had over twenty participants at its first evening.

Fridays are open "pay and play" sessions when anyone is welcome to come along for all or part of the time to try the new equipment and have a good time playing together. It's £4 a session or pay just £30 for the whole term.
