Torbay Academy 1’s domination of the cup competitions continues as they comfortably defeated N A Eagles in the final of the Dyment Doubles.  Kris Piwowar, Patrik Cincala & Greg Wojtowicz dominated the Eagles from the start winning 5-0 and just dropping one leg on the way to their victory.  Jim McIvor, Andy & Alan Tyrrell battled well for the Eagles and played their part in some excellent points but the higher ranked players from the Academy showed their class and comfortably overcame their handicap.

Dyment Doubles Shield Winners – Torbay Academy 1 – Greg Wojtowicz, Kris Piwowar, Patrik Cincala

The final league matches took place in the Second Division and confirmed Torbay Academy 3 as champions, going the season undefeated with a 6-4 win over Marldon, Dan Webster-Hall with a maximum for the Academy.  The four points Marldon achieved in defeat lifted them from the foot of the table.  Brixham Pirates’ Martin Sharp & Nicholas Shipley were undefeated as third placed Pirates also beat Marldon this time 8-2.
