Torbay Academy 1 have opened up a massive lead at the top of the First Division following their 7-3 win over the Academy’s second string.  With both Kris Piwowar and Patrik Cincala unbeaten throughout the first phases of matches they already look unstoppable!  Brixham Sharks, 19 points adrift, move into the runners-up spot following a fine victory over NA Batmen, with Adam Shipway man of the match for the Sharks.  Dave Wadling was on top form for Halwell as they defeated Brixham Gulls 7-3.

The 2nd Division is much tighter, with just 4 points separating the top 4 sides. Current leaders are Torbay Academy 3, who have Brixham Seals and Newton Abbot’s Falcons and Eagles on their heels.  Brixham’s Bob Parkins and Stuart Shipley were undefeated as the Seals beat Marldon 9-1. Maximums from Ed Crawford and Giles Tushingham kept NA Falcons in the hunt with an 8-2 win over Torbay Academy 4, and NA Eagles defeated club colleagues the Hawks 7-3, as Mike Dummett took all 3 points for the Hawks.  Brixham Trawlers edged their match against old rivals Taverners 6-4, thanks to a 5th game victory in the final doubles.

With Paul Hine still unbeaten and Huw Darch in excellent form, Denbury Tykes have taken charge of the 3rd Division, with their latest victory 7-3 over club mates Marldon Tykes. A Jim Saunders maximum helped Dawlish Diamonds move into the runners-up position following a 6-4 win over Torre Tigers. Two other close encounters in the 3rd Division saw Hasbeens share the points with Torbay Academy 5, whose Harrison Grainger was unbeaten, and Brixham Dolphins who defeated NA Kestrels 6-4 thanks to another 5th game decider in the final doubles.

Torbay Academy 7 were victorious 7-3 in the top of the table match against NA Owls, with John Fowler taking a maximum for the Academy.  Torres R Us, Andrew Davies, Bill Keywood and Robert Excell, continue to climb the table as they whitewashed struggling Dawlish Dodgers. Torbay Academy 6 defeated Brixham Swifts 9-1, with Matt Frettsome and Neville Cregan unbeaten for the Academy, and Kevin Andrews picking up the Swifts solitary point.  Lewis Short led his NA Kites team to a 7-3 win over stablemates the Vultures.  A Prabhu Kashap maximum helped Dawlish Drifters to a 6-4 victory over NA Ospreys.
