Devon Junior Closed and other competitions
Dear All

This season the Devon Junior Closed Championships will take place on Sunday 25th September 2016 commencing at 9am.

For the past few seasons the Devon Junior Closed Championships have taken place at the very end of the season which has caused some difficulty in arranging an acceptable date.

Again for the past few years some junior trials, to assist in the selection of the Devon County junior teams, have taken place but these have proved difficult to arrange with many players unable to attend.

The Devon County Table Tennis Association selectors will now use these Championships as a further guide for selection of the Devon Junior & Cadet teams and because they will hopefully take place in future earlier in the season they will provide a much better indication of players form to enable the Devon County to compile a more accurate Junior and Cadet ranking list.

We would encourage all players who are interested in representing the Devon County Junior and Cadet teams to enter the competition and we also hope to offer some training days in the future.

The entry form is attached and the closing date will be 12 noon on Wednesday 21st September 2016.

This closing date will be strictly adhered to and unfortunately we will be unable to accept any late entries.

We will accept email entries but any entry will not be accepted without a bacs payment of the entry fees. Please use the surname of the entry as a reference. Alternatively we will accept entries at JOOLA Plymouth TTC at the cafe where we can accept all card payments and Apple Pay. Cheques and postal orders are always fine.

I will send out regular updates with the names of entries received and will send email notifications of electronic entries as they come in.

Please enter early and we look forward to seeing you all on Sunday 25th September.

This year we are also going to run an under 10s festival event on Saturday 24th September
Would all coaches, teachers parents or players interested in bringing players along please contact me with names. It will commence at 2.00pm and run for about 3 hours and may involve a short training session before the competition. Ant coaches willing to help out please let us know. The cost of the event will be £2.00 and all standards will be very welcome.
