10-0 wins for the top two teams in Division One keep the pressure on favourites for the title, Denbury Imports, who have games in hand over their rivals. Leaders NA Batmen’s team of Nick Halse, Dennis & Shaun Gibbs defeated Brixham Gulls and second-placed Brixham Sharks’ team of Adam Shipway, Jaz Johns & Gordon Holmes defeated bottom side Battlers.

NA Buzzards are making their move to challenge for the Second Division title, following a fine 9-1 win over Marldon. Ed Crawford and Mike Dummett were unbeaten for the Buzzards as they close to within 2 points of the top with a game in hand. Nigel Goodman’s victory over Buzzards’ Charlie Usher collected Marldon’s point.

Nick Shipley was again unbeaten as Brixham Dolphins defeated Hasbeens 8-2 in the Third Division.

In the Fourth Division, Brixham Panthers squeezed home 6-4 over basement side Pure Torre, with Izzy Brown securing a maximum for the Panthers.

In the Challenge Cup, the youngsters from Torbay Academy 6 marched through to the quarter-finals with a 5-0 win over stablemates Academy 3.  The Academy 2 side saw off Dawlish Drifters 5-0 and will face Halwell in the quarter finals following Halwell’s 5-1 victory over Battlers. Denbury Tykes had an unbeaten Martin Dilkes to thank for their narrow 5-4 victory over Torre Bats which earns them a quarter final tie against NA Buzzards.
