JOHN EWER 1934 - 2014
It is with sadness that I have to report the death of John EWER who passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on Tuesday 23rd December.
John will be remembered as a fine, tenacious table tennis player who played regularly in the South Devon & Torbay Table Tennis League for a number of years and was a valuable member of the League's Executive Committee.
Although John has not played in the league recently, he will be fondly remembered by both those who played with him and against him.
John together with his wife Margaret kindly donated the Super Veterans Shield for the over-60s, which has become an integral event in our Annual Championships.
John's funeral will take place next Tuesday 6th January 2015 at the Torquay Crematorium at 13.30.
Family flowers only are requested, but donations may be made to Rowcroft at Home or Parkinson's UK.
