Brixham Sharks are heading towards clinching the First Division crown following an emphatic win over the now doomed Battlers. Battlers needed a single point to avoid relegation but the Sharks were in no mood to drop any sets in their quest for the title, and by whitewashing Battlers they also helped stablemates Trawlers avoid the drop to Division 2. The Sharks team of Stam Kioufis, Jazmin Johns, Adam Shipway & Chris Dunn now require just 5 points from their final match against Dawlish Aces to be confirmed Champions.   Halwell finished the season well with a convincing 8-2 win over Brixham Gulls, although well off the pace of the top three teams. Halwell finished 4^th, 24 points ahead of 5^th placed Newton Bishops.

Tykes finished what was a disappointing season for them, with a fine 9-1 victory over Brixham Pirates, the fast-improving Holly Johns preventing the whitewash. Pat Darch and Chris Garner had maximums for the Tykes.

The Challenge Cup final will be played out between Torbay Academy I & Newton Bishops following the Bishops 5-2 victory over Taverners.  Colin Harrop, for the Taverners, was back to his best form, and needed to be, to beat Connor Adams in an exciting 5 setter; he also saw off ex-team-mate Gerald Norton, but that was as good as it got for Taverners as the all-round ability of Adams, McIvor & Norton were too strong for Harrop’s team mates.
