Division Six run-away leaders Albert Premier ‘C’ brought their championship winning campaign to a close with a 9-1 result over a visiting Wadsley Bridge ‘C’ side. Trevor Parsons prevented the whitewash as Hazel Young (3), Ross Stewart-Young (3) and Connor Caw (2) once again underlined their domination. They, along with Christian Oughton, will be joined in Division Five next term by Hallam Grange ‘E’ whose enlarged squad included Nigel Repper, Sangdo Park, John Pilling, Bokyoung Lee and Roger Arkell.

An under strength Albert Premier ‘B’ team dropped both points during the visit of Abbeydale ‘K’ in Division Five. Chris Leviston, Gillian Jones and Victor Cra croft were the beneficiaries of the champion’s team selection as they all took braces in a 7-3 win, but the surprise result will not prevent their drop into the lower tier. Albert will be joined in Division Four by runners-up Northern General ‘D’ led by Pat Thorley, Chrissy Sykes and Jeff Calvert.

Hallam Grange ‘C’ is favourites to join Division Four champions – Vulcan ‘F’ in the third tier. John Daniels, Hock-Ann Chia and Jon Whitchurch recently shared the spoils at Shiregreen ‘C’ to close out their campaign. Rob Hulubei and Pete Henger notched braces for the hosts and Ryan Henger completed the scoring with a win over Chia. Daniels (49/63) took a further maximum and confirmed his position as the standout player in a division which was dominated by the hitherto undefeated Attercliffe outfit.
