To all Players

It is with deep regret that I have to inform you of the passing of Mick Burnett.  Although he hasn't played for some years now due to his illness (leukaemia) Scarborough members may well remember Mick who played for Swinton in the Ryedale and Scarborough leagues and Coneysthorpe in the York league. Sadly Mick passed away over Christmas. He was only 65 years old.  He was a good table tennis player but will be best remembered for his sportsmanship and respect at all times for his opponent, whether he won or lost. At this moment in time I do not have any funeral details but I will pass those on as and when I receive them, should any member wish to attend.

Yours in Sport
