Comets v Backspin B
Both of these teams are struggling in Division 3 after gaining promotion last year and this could be the battle for the wooden spoon.
2 players won 2 games each, Colin Pritchard and Nigel Coe for Comets and John Cook and Lyndsey Beacham for Backspin and with Paul Salkeld for Comets losing out to Martyn Parry of Backspin and John and Lyndsey beating Paul and Nigel in the doubles, Backspin came away with a 6-4 victory.

Sunderland Presentation Night
Max Duffin virtually cleaned up in The Sunderland league presentations on Friday June 10th by taking the the Under 15 and under 18 trophy from the Sunderland closed championships, the handicap cup singles trophy, and the player of the year for Divisions 1 and 2 of the league - quite a haul. He was also involved in the Bombers team who took the Second Division trophy along with Ian McPherson, Dan Hutchinson, Nigel Coe, Dan Nicholson and Lee Maher. Also taking the 3rd Division title was the Comets team, made up of Colin Pritchard, Debbie Irwin, Nikki Irwin and Matt Greenwood
