Bombers v St Gabriels B away. St Gabriels with Geoff Young, Mark Burton and Stephen Young were against Ian McPherson Daniel Hutchinson and Daniel Nicholson of the Bombers. Geoff Young and Mark Burton gave St Gabriels a great start taking the first two games 3-0 but Dan Nicholson came back from 2-0 love down to beat Stephen Young 3-2. Mark Burton continued his winning streak beating Dan Hutchinson before Bombers came back taking the next three games to take a 4-3 lead including the doubles. Out of the last three games only Mark Burton won for St Gabriel’s giving him the player of the match but with Dan Hutchinson and Ian McPherson winning the last two games Bombers ended up with 3 points in a 6-4 match.
Chargers v St Johns A . An exciting match ended with an 8-2 win to St Johns with Anna Kiwitt causing the St Johns team all sorts of problems in winning two of her matches.

Desperadoes v Lanchester. A Superbly competitive game between the two youngest teams in the league. Lanchester fielding Thaqib Saleem, Francis Guthrie and Seb Seccombe were playing Erin Harrison, Sam Duffin and Luke Dumighan. The first game gave a flavour of the games to come with Thaqib struggling to beat Sam Duffin over 4 ends.
Erin restored the balance with a win over Seb and Luke took Seb to 4 games before being overcome, Sam beat Seb over 5 sets to leave the game balanced at 2-2. John Cook decided to play in the doubles and his experience helped Thaqib beat Erin and Sam over 4 ends. The second five games saw 4 go to Lanchester with Erin beating Francis to leave the result at 7-3 to Lanchester. Luke Dumighan was voted Player of the Match for his attitude and playing the game in the right spirit.
