Where we are:-

The club operates from Rowhedge Village Hall which is located at:-

Rectory Road, Rowhedge, Colchester, CO5 7HX.

See below for when we are there and what activities takes place on club nights.

Rowhedge Table tennis Club was formed in 2003 from an amalgamation of three clubs who all lost their playing venues at the same time, Paxmans, The Civil Club and British Gas. The loss of a venue proved to be the making of Rowhedge Table Tennis Club.

The club is very proud of it's achivement in becoming a Table Tennis England PremierClub and reaching Clubmark status in May-09. This is a great testament to hardwork put in by club members.

Allocation of table time

During busy periods players are requested to restrict their practice time on the table to 15 minutes to allow other players waiting the opportunity to get onto a table. This is especially important where only one or two practice tables are available. The pressure to free up time decreases as the session progresses and players can extend their time on the table knowing no players are waiting for a table.

Players co-operation is appreciated to operate the above self regulated table allocation.

We also encourage experienced club players to knock/practice with new club members and those players developing their table tennis skills.

New players/members always appreciate some informal advice so please help when you can. Rowhedge is a competitive but friendly club and we always welcome new players to the club.
