Week Four - Summer League
General Action Shot Doubles2

H2O Rowhedge B and H2O Reapers both lost their 100% records each team losing 2-3. This puts 4 teams all on 6 points at the top of the table. Pegasus A ( Dave Whiting & Roger Hance) beat H2O Rowhedge E (Jarek Sahaj & Pawee Szemro) 5-0, taking full advantage of their handicaps with only one match going the full distance.

The return of Steve Holland saw Gt. Horkesley A beat H2O Rowhedge B 3-2 with Matt Rogers winning the last singles of the evening to clinch the match with all games being won in two sets.

Zeroabove (Rik James & guest Alan Burgess) beat H2O Rowhedge A (John Andrews & Thomas Lewis) 4-1. Their only success being a 21-19 win, in the deciding leg of the doubles, this game, again, was the only one to go the full distance.

Tollgate A (Greg Green & Steve New) raced into a 2-0 lead against the ladies of Gt. Horkesley B (Chris Jones & Denise Thompson) and must have thought that they could grab their first win of the campaign. Sadly they lost 3-2 and now have the unenviable record of 4 played, 4 losses.

H2O Reapers (Neil Huatan & Dan Rhodes) went 2-0 up against Pegasus B (Vic Little & Helen Woolnough) and their 100% record looked safe. Alas, they fell apart with Pegasus winning 3-2. All games being won in 2 sets. Out of the 25 games played on the night only 4 went the full distance!
