In the second division, Trinity C is one point clear at the top of the table having overcome Amlwch C9-1. The islanders point was earned by Caren Ault she beat Josh Gilmore in three straight. The only five-game match witnessed Fred Moore beat Matthew Winnett 11-8 in the decider. The unbeatenRhyl B lie second after beating Craig-y-don A 8-2. The man of the match was Dave Foster who secured his maximum for the loss of only one game. The surprise was Norman Stagg lost for only the second time this season going down over four games to Nigel Watson. Bill Williams secured the other Craig-y-don A point and prevented John Hughes from also registering a maximum. The closet encounter was the doubles, this was decided 12-10 in the fifth by Norman and Dave.
Amlwch C is through to the semi-finals of the league cup where they will face Police B at the Police headquarters.
