Preston City Teams success continues

Preston Juniors A team, won the National (NW) Junior league.

The team of Matt Howarth, Nathan Nickeas, Harry Bates and Josh Lumb won 17 of their 18 games, with 1 draw finishing on 97 points. Kendal A finished 2nd on 74 points and Garstang A finishing 3rd on 73 points.

The Preston B team also did well finishing in a creditable 4th position.

Preston Cadets finished runner up in the National (NW) Cadet league.

Although they did not quite copy the Juniors, the Preston Cadet team of Oliver Garmston, Brandon Pepper, Adam Oldfield and Alex Shuttleworth came 2nd behind Lancaster Boys, in the National NW Cadet league.

However it was close and they only lost by 4 points.

Competition for places in our City teams will be fierce next season and their continued success feeds through in to our Preston league.  Players from the Junior and Cadet teams now play in all three of our divisions.

A big thank you to our coaches and parents who coach, support and transport our Juniors around the North West of England allowing them to compete in these events.
