Refreshed after the two week break, players should now be ready to take up the battle for top team honours and individual performances in the fight for the top average positions.
Injuries are causing problems for many of the teams in all the clubs and with just one week left before the seasonal break let us hope that time will heal the problems before January, as no new players can be registered after the first half of the season.
Countdown for the half way stage has begun with only 2 weeks of matches left before we can see who will be the contenders for top honours and which teams have to up their game, but there are some great matches in prospect to savour.
Next week’s match to watch in the Premier Division is Ball Green A playing hosts to Crewe Post Office, currently in third spot, while Bradwell A and Penkhull A, fourth and fifth, meet at Penkhull on Wednesday.
Bradwell A, Ball Green A, Crewe P.O. and Ball Green B all had wins in the Premier Division, as did the two Penkhull teams in Division 1, along with Kidsgrove B, who share third place with Ball Green E, themselves having a 7-3 win over Bradwell E.
Four weeks into the new season and there have been one or two surprising results and some great performances.
