NEW short-format competition and multi-table venue in Headington

ODTTA has booked Cheney School Headington on Wednesday evenings 7.30 - 9.30 pm from 1st October for a new two-a-side competition and practice tables.

The Cheney Twos is the same format as the 2AS Development League (two players per team, matches of four singles and one doubles) but open to those of 3AS league standard. All matches are played at Cheney on Wed evenings.

You can play in the Cheney Twos as well as for a regular league side, so it's ideal for those in larger teams who don't otherwise get a match each week. Cost is £3 per player per match, and you must also have Table Tennis England Player membership.

A trial run for 8 teams runs from 10th Oct - 21st November, and there is space for one more team - we suggest teams are three or four players to ensure they can fulfil all fixtures. Or individual players who are interested in taking part on some or all of the weeks should contact, and I will try and slot them in with an existing team.

Cheney drop-in sessions: There will be six tables for general play on 1st October, 28th November and 5th December and tbc Wed Dec 12th. Cost £2 an hour or £3 for two hours
