Llansilin A Vs Kinnerley Royals (6-4)

Another impressive performance from Aaron Morris helped Llansilin A to a 6-4 victory over Kinnerley Royals. Aaron was well supported by Ken Raines who picked up two wins on the night. Max Johnson also picked up two wins for The Royals and paired up with Sahim Zaza to win an entertaining doubles match against Ken Raines and Mike Taylor in fifth set 11-9.

Morda Eagles Vs Llansilin Drovers (8-2)

With five matches going to five sets the result somewhat belies the evenness of the two teams. Nevertheless, Marcin Stepkowski and Chris Walker's clean sweep in both the singles and the doubles led the hard fought 8-2 victory to Morda Eagles.

Caereinion B Vs Llansilin B (5-5)

A draw was a fair result in a game that illustrated the progress of young Paul Sissons from Llansilin, and Carl Harmer and David Hawes from Caereinion. Geraint Thomas was the most experienced of the Llanfair trio picking up two points. Pat Lovell secured three wins for the away side. Paul Sissons Junior picked up two points earning the draw for Llansilin in the final game of the night where he just edged out Carl Harmer 13-11 in a very tightly contested fifth set.

Llansilin A Vs Llanfair Caereinion B (7-3)

Aaron Morris and Ken Raines picked up maximum points and secured a fairly comfortable win for the home side. In the game of the evening, they were pushed hard in the doubles by Geraint Thomas and Carl Harmer with the away duo taking the first two sets. Steady play from Morris and Raines saw them claw their way back, taking the game into the fifth set which they won 11-6.

Llansilin B Vs Morda Lions (4-6)

As expected, Jim Reeves picked up maximum points from his three games for the Lions. He then partnered Patrick Lewers to take the doubles in straight sets against Paul Sissons and Ian Browne. Lewers was involved in the two tightest games. He came back strongly from two sets down against Paul Sissons Jr taking the last three sets fairly comfortably. In a very closely contested game, Paul Sissons Sr turned the tables on Lewers and secured the point for the home side taking the fifth set 11-8
