Kinnerley Crusaders vs Criftins B (5-5)

A close fought match eventually resulted in a stalemate, with neither team able to top the other. The father and son pair of Mark and Josh Roberts pick up their first points for the Crusaders, and given a helping hand with Ivan Watkiss taking two points from the opposition. Russell Evans, however was man of the match taking 3 wins and who also won the doubles in a 5 set thriller alongside up and coming Alex Jones.

Caereinion A v Morda Tigers (0-10)

You have to go back a long way into the history books to find the last time Caereinion A lost a match 10-0. With Jason Hughes still absent it was Huw Jones , Jeremy Chavez and Glyn Jones who put in another sterling performance for the Tigers with Glyn Jones being the man of the match, not dropping a single set. Bartozer came closest to salvaging a point for Caereinion taking Chavez to 5 sets but not able to capitalise on the couple of match points which came his way.

Llansilin "B" vs Kinnerley Royals (6-4)

The first encounter of the season for the two debuting teams produced a keenly fought contest. The experienced Pat Lovell picked up maximum points and well supported with Ian Brown winning two five set matches. Sahim Zaza impressively won two games for Kinnerley Royals, and alongside him Steve Jones and Dave Wilde narrowly overcame fellow newcomer Paul Sissons Snr. Llansilin A, however, secured the victory with a doubles win in four sets to round off a throughly enjoyable match.

Caereinion B v Morda Eagles (1-9)

The Eagles are flying high in division 2 after another convincing 9-1 win. On this occasion it was Caerinion B who were put under the kosh. For Caereinion it was Geraint Thomas who prevailed against Ian Ordillano in 5 sets to gain Caereinion's solitary point. Otherwise Chris Walker and Marcin Stepkowski put in a faultless display to set up the Eagles as the early pace setters in the second division. Caereinion debutant David Hawes put in a good performance in his first competative match.
