There is a great opportunity to see some of the best table tennis players in action in the North East next weekend, 14 and 15 March, when the Ormesby Club hosts the final weekend of the Premier British League.

Extra spice is given to the matches in that the race for the title is very close and the matches over the weekend will certainly decide which club are the new British Champions.  Additional local interest is generated by the fact that Ormesby are in contention with the Nottingham club, Sycamore.

There are 2 rounds of matches on Saturday at 11.00 am and 3.00 pm and 2 rounds of matches on Sunday at 10.00 am and 2.30 pm.  What may well be the deciding match between the two leaders will take place at 10.00 am on Sunday morning.

Spectators are welcome.  We are expecting several of the key people from Table Tennis England to be present and it would certainly be good for table tennis in the North East to see an enthusiastic audience supporting the event.
