Where to play Table Tennis

There is currently three opportunities to play Table Tennis in Bideford. They are all offered at Bideford Youth Centre, The Pill, Kingsley Road, Bideford, EX39 2PF.

Thursday: Mornings between 10:00 and 12:00 (usually attended by senior citizens but all are welcome) This is run as part of the U3A sport participation activities. Four tables are available with an average attendance of 15. Cost per session is £4.00.

Friday: Afternoons between 14:30 and 16:30 (usually attended by senior citizens but all are welcome) Session is called “Bat & Chat”. Four tables are available with an average attendance of 10. Cost per session is £3:00 with an annual Club Membership of £5 per individual, £8 per couple.

Saturday: Mornings between 09:30 and 11:30 (open to all abilities and ages – this was originally set up as a junior session but due to the current lack of youngsters at this present time it is open to all. Four tables are available with an average attendance of 10. Cost per session is £4:00 for Senior players and £2:00 for Juniors.

We are always looking for new members and would be very pleased to welcome you into any of the above sessions.

There is also a Table Tennis training session held the TARKA Centre in Barnstaple on a Thursday evening between 19:00 and 21:00 at a cost of £4.00 with 8 tables available.

The Atlantic Racquet Centre (ARC) has two tables available for hire through their website https://www.atlanticracquetcentre.co.uk/ at a cost of £6 per hour. Membership is available at £8 per month which allows daytime booking (before 17:00) to be free.

The local Table Tennis League is called the North Devon Table Tennis League, it currently has 65 playing members in two divisions and would welcome new individual members or complete teams (minimum of 3 players in a team)
