Not all results are in - but as Strictly is on telly it's time to do something exciting like writing a table tennis report!  To all captains, if you want me to mention anything about your match please e-mail me at – sgr.par@btinternet.com . Cheers!

Start with Division 2 this week.  A super performance from Tom Venn who was top scorer for Top Spin Tail Spinners (West Buck to most of us). His three points gave a 7-3 result over the Vice.  Chris Isaac is clearly improving and recorded a good win for the Vice.

The Vice also played Dolphins with Bob Taylor winning his three to lead the team to a 6 -4 result.  Dolphins were last year's also rans – but things are looking up.  Sam Coutu-Oughton did really well to record two wins, and Mike Fawcett is getting back to form, also with two wins.

The other game in Div 2 saw a strong Holsworthy B team show no mercy to Despicables.  Barry Stearman and Jill Knightly starring in a 9 -1 hammering.

In Div 1, Nets and Edges and Misfits share top spot.  Misfits had a good win over Smugglers.  The 7-3 win helped by smugglers being a player short. Daniel Moore starred for misfits.  Peter Hedge and Keith le Milliere settled their contest at 14-12 in the fifth.

Dave Streak is proving a difficult proposition so far, still on 100%. and surviving a tough contest against Steve Cragg.  He and Martin Eyles picked up two wins each.

McDonalds and Co have made a strong start to the season. Ben Taylor led with 3 points in a 6-4 win over Chulmleigh A.  Jon Taylor played well for the A's picking up two wins.

Bill Tregellas has started in fine form and scored 3 for Herons who won overall 6-4 against Chulmleigh B. Greg Anson led the Chulmleigh resistance with 2, while Mike Hill picked up his first win in this division.

Finally, the Spin Doctors displayed possible title credentials with a strong 7-3 win over Balls of Fury. Michael Sussex was player of the match with a maximum.  Dave Morgan and Ewen are picking up points with great regularity too.
