Ashford Hill Ramblers march on towards the title taking maximum points with an 8-2 win over Thatcham Colts with Sam Ricks and John Goodyer unbeaten
Kintbury Titans who are heading the race for second place had a comfortable 10-0 victory against Thatcham C with Glen Freeman, Nat Richardson and Kevin Brooker all getting trebles.
Thatcham A also inflicted a 10-0 defeat on Thatcham Lions with Andy Barnes , John Golding and Tony Brown in good form and keeps them in the race.
Two other sides who are in the top half had an immense battle ending all square they were Woolton Hill Eagles and Kintbury Jog.with 6 matches going to five sets with Jog winning 4 of those.Top man was Eagles Antony Baker with a maximum and Ian Langley won twice Dom Cutter was best for Jog with two wins but there were some classic matches .
Upton Ultraviolets beat Woolton Hill Badgers who had a player short by 9-1 with Matt Davies and John Gould winning all their games with Davies and Matt Isherwood also securing the doubles.
The top three teams remain tied on the same points after they all drew this week
Thatcham Jeffernauts and Thatcham Scorpions played each other and neither side could get the win.Jeffernauts Teifion Chamberlain won his three matches and Andy Jeffery won twice and for Scorpions Simon Barter won two but the match of the night was the doubles as there were long rallies with all four players involved in big hits Scorpions eventually won this 11-7 in deciding set
AWE Fission could not take advantage of the above and also drew their match with Woolton Hill Wildcats with John McLarty getting a hat trick and George Wilson winning two. Roger Cherowbrier was best for Wildcats and won the important doubles with Alan Fuller to get the draw.
Thatcham Scavengers move into 4th place 6 points behind the leaders with a game in hand They had a 6-4 win over Kintbury Cobra's . Scavengers Niall McGrane had a maximum and Bob Lynch had a double .as did Cobra's Ian Wu.
Inkpen Insufferables with their second 10-0 win in a row are now title favourites Bob Nash, Rohit Sengupta and Tom Kelly had some close games but all came through unbeaten when they played West Ilsley B.
Kintbury Outlaws keep second place after defeating two man Woolton Hill Racketeers 8-2 with David Rawlings winning both his matches for Outlaws and Panos Stemitsiotis getting the two for Racketeers.
Thatcham Dragons and Thatcham Tornadoes had a 5-5 draw with Dragons Sajish Pavithran winning a treble whilst Michael Slingo and Jason Agar both won twice for Tornadoes both having to win 5 setters .
Although Lorraine Mortimer won all three for Thatcham A and E they still lost 6-4 to Thatcham Spitfires as they only could field two players
Thatcham Hawks beat Woolton Hill Woodpeckers even though Woodpeckers Ben Djekic had a great match winning all three . Dave Norman and Ian Dickason both won twice for Hawks and also won the doubles together
