The Veterans Final showed up two old rivals and it was Andy Barnes on the day who was too strong for Richard Fettes winning three straight
The Ladies Final was an excellent match between the two top seeds Sue Gower and Sue Purton with both hitting good winners Purton just took the first but Gower came back to win the next two The fourth was Gower leading 10-7 but Purton levelled at 10 all before eventually losing 14-12
The Mens Doubles was outstanding with Sam Ricks and Patrick taking the first two sets and Andy Barnes and Richard Fettes the next two and at 9-9 in the fifth it was anybodies to win But Ricks and Garlick took the next two points and to victory.
The last event was the Mens Singles finals and this was to be the match that Sam Ricks really turned it on with some dazzling table tennis as he didn't let Patrick Garlick settle into his game and won three straight
