Div 1 newcomers Rainham 4 ran out narrow winners over their more experienced clubmates Rainham 2 at the Shed. In a seesaw encounter the lower ranked Team won the last 2 points for a 6-4 success. Every player scored at least one point with Georgi Atanason and Sam Woodcock scoring twice for the "away" side and the ever reliable Mick Hambelton replying with 2 victories for the hosts. Alan Morton lost 2 five leggers but did get the better of John Coleman who in turn stopped Georgi's hatrick. Mike Ingram completed the line up for the 2nd's getting a good win over Alan.
