This match was played on 25th April and confirmed two things; Parkwood will finish as champions of Div 1 and Anchs 4 will be relegated. Parkwood have been at the summit for most of the season and this was their 22nd victory out of 26 matches averaging over 7.5 points per match. The trio of Ross Childs, Dave Hopkins and Vince Spicer have played most of the matches keenly supported by Captain Brendan Reilly who played when necessary. Ross had a particularly consistant season and if you base the Div 1 averages on those players who have played at least 50% of matches, Ross would be top. Anchs on the other hand have only won 4 matches all season and none of their players have an average over 40%. They tried hard in this match but lost three 5 leggers with Greg Sammy unable to hold on from winning positions in two of them. Good luck to both teams in their different Divisions next season.
