MATCH WEEK 3 Results

Division 1

1. Jacksdale A bt Ravenshead Riots  – 8-2-  P.O.M – Kerry Harvey

2. Ravenshead Rascals  bt Jacksdale B – 9-1  -  P.O.M – Conrad Stoddart

3. Zygabyte A bt Zygabyte B – 9-1  -  P.O.M – Dean Brookes

Kerry Harvey led the team to their 2nd 8-2 win in as many matches in the away match at Ravenshead Riots. Riots started well and looked promising as they took a 2-1 lead, but then Jacksdale A went on a run and won the last 7 games.

Conrad ‘Junior’ Stoddart in his 1st match for the Rascals this season, was player of the match losing only 1 end but dominating in all his fixtures. Rascals are early leaders after their 9-1 victory over Jacksdale B with 19 points after just 2 games.

Dean Brookes Player of the Match performance once again winning all his games 3-0 backed up by Joe Zygadlo who also is maintaining his 100% record so far this season led Zygabyte A to a 9-1 victory over Zygabyte B.

Division 2

1. Ravenshead Angels  vs  Jacksdale D  -  6-4  - P.O.M – Lisa Lewis

2. Boothys Ravens   bt   New Cross Snipers  -  7-3  - P.O.M – Stan Zygadlo

3. Ravenshead Rebels  vs   Boothys  -  Match Result Pending

4. Zygabyte Old Bats   vs   Hucknall 50+    -  6-4  - P.O.M – Nigel Stent

Ravens move top of the Division 2 with their 2nd convincing win in 4 days  with both Stan Zygadlo & Andy Bunting unbeaten in their singles.  Stan the new member of the Ravens on his debut for the team took the Player of the Match winning all his games 3-0.

Lisa Lewis performed once again for the Angels coming in unbeaten in their 6-4 win over Jacksdale D. Last match of the night in the doubles between Lisa Lewis & Maggie Burrows vs Joshua Hall & Alan Lockyear was very close with the deciding game going to a marathon 18-16 score.

Early night weds night as all the singles between Hucknall 50+ & Zygabyte Old Bats were won 3-0. Nigel Stent who was unbeaten again maintaining is 100% record led the Old Bats to a 6-4 victory.
