 Division 1 Report

In Paperstation Malvern League Division 1 YMCA Daredevils maintained their 100% record  with an 8-2 win against Crackpots E  with  Craig Preece and Svilen Andreev again unbeaten including the doubles.  Graham Collier claimed the other victory for Daredevils with Matt Hodges and Dave Steen winning single games for Crackpots. Ledbury Collection shared the points with Manor Park Pumas thanks to a maximum from Harry Jutle supported by Ann Barnes and Patryk Kovacz with 1 each. Dave Hallam with 2 and Jon Dyke and Geoff Woodward with 1 each together with victory in the doubles against Patryk and Harry.  CSSC Ramblers kept up the chase with a 7-3 win against Ledbury Lions thanks to maximums from Chris Hewitt and Graham Thompson who also combined to win the doubles. Steve Meredith, Mike Morgan and Richard Cullis replied with single wins for Lions. Manor Park Travellers continued their fine form with a 7-3 win against Express thanks to 3 more wins for Geoff Burford ,2 for Toby Wren and 1 for Martin Snee. Dale Dickenson, Pete Griffiths and Ray Page replied with single wins for Express.  

Division 2 Report

Division 2 continues to feature some very tight games with 4 of the 5 matches ending in draws. YMCA Vulcans drew 5-5 with Devils for whom Dave Knowles again won 3 with Liz Hallam and Phil Steers winning 1 each, Vulcans replied with 2 for Richard Bennet and John Cawthra who also combined to win the doubles. Malvern Tornados and Manor Park Wanderers also drew with Barry Barwick and Phil Smethurst(2) and Dave Bradley 1 winning for Wanderers and Dominic Weston and Ethan Webb with 2 each and the doubles responding for  Tornados. Patriots also shared the points with Crackpots D with 2 each for Steve Glazzard and Graham Collier and 1 for James Glazzard. Simon Morgan was unbeaten for Crackpots  including victory in the doubles and James Palmer defeating James for the draw.  Bromyard Kestrels defeated Scuttling Gang 6-4 thanks to a maximum from Mark Stubbs, 2 from Rob Wilcox and 1 for Martin Gwilt.  Bill Smith with 2 and Richard Cullis 1 replied for Scuttling Gang.  Phoenix drew 5-5 with fellow Poolbrook side Dynamos with 2 wins for Steve Mulka and 1 for Matt White and James Mulka. John Phillips with 3 and Keith Bredin 2 replied for Dynamos.  

Division 3 Report

Maximums from Charlie Burford and Dave Bradley supported by Karl Richards with 2 earned Rangers an 8-2 win against Panthers for whom Jude Tyson gained a solitary singles success and the doubles with Ewan Gear. Poolbrook Phoenix 2nds and Poolbrook Juniors shared a 5-5 draw with Zoe Snee and Karl Richards with 2 each and Alan Goodman 1 winning for Juniors. Will Jones 3 and Michael Lewent  1 and together achieving  success in the doubles to earn the draw. Stephen Lindner was again in fine form for Manor Park Crackpots winning his 3 and the doubles in the 5-5 draw against Crackpots B supported by Ed Palmer with 1, Stan Gynn and Alan Eldridge with 2 each and Alan Forsdyke with 1 earned a share of the points for Crackpots .  Nomads  defeated Wombats 8-2  thanks to another maximum from Dave Hayes supported by Dave Clarke and Adrian Fray with 2 each, Paul Lythgoe with 2 replied for Wombats.
