In Paperstation Malvern League Division 1 Ledbury Collection have consolidated their lead at the top of the table with excellent 8-2 victories against both Crackpots E and Ledbury Rovers and a 10-0 whitewash of Pterodactyl Old Boys. Nigel Foreshew continued his excellent form with maximums in all 3 matches with Harry Jutle also contributing maximums against both Rovers and Crackpots as did Craig Preece against Old Boys. Matt Hodges and Colin Dolding scored notable victories for Crackpots against Ann Barnes for Crackpots as did Ady Marshall and Jack Castle for Rovers against Trevor Davies.
CSSC Ramblers kept up their title challenge with a 10-0 whitewash against Crackpots E and a 5-5 draw against Manor Park Express both matches featuring maximums from Chris Hewitt. Pete Griffiths played superbly for Express holding match point against Chris and defeating the reliable Alan Salisbury in 4 sets to earn relegation threatened Express a superb draw. Express also held Broadheath Belters to a 5-5 draw despite another maximum from Brett Brinning thanks to 2 wins for Dale Dickenson and Dave Woodyatt and 1 for Ray Page. Brett and John Stalker won the crucial doubles in 5 sets against Dave and Dale, Toby Wren contributed Belters other victory with a win against Ray. Express also defeated an understrength Old Boys 6-4 thanks to 2 wins each for Dale,Dave and Pete Griffiths. ,Ian Bell won 2 matches for Old Boys and teamed up with Graham Collier to take the doubles against Pete and Dale,Graham also enjoyed a close 5 set singles win against Pete.
Ledbury Rovers defeated Manor Park Pumas 6-4 thanks to 2 wins each for Jack Castle and Ady Marshall and 1 for James Dance. James and Ady also combine to take the oubles in 5 sets against Jon Dyke and Geoff Woodward, Geoff was unbeaten for Pumas and Jon registered the other victory. Ledbury Lions defeated Pumas 6-4 thanks to a maximum from Patryck Kowacs and the doubles with Steve Meredith against Jon and Geoff. Steve and Richard Smith claimed 1 win each for Lions to earn the victory,Jon Dyke 2 and Geoff Woodward and Dave Knowles 1 each replied for Pumas. Lions also earned an 8-2 victory against Crackpots E with maximums for both Steve Meredith and Richard Smith, Colin Dolding replied for Crackpots with a close 5 set victory against Patryk Kovacz and also combined with Dave Steen in the doubles to defeat Patryk and Steve.
