Division 1 Report.

Ledbury Collection continued their fine form with an 8-2 defeat of Ledbury Lions with Nigel Foreshew again winning his 3 matches and Harry Jutle and Ann Barnes 2 each, Lions replied with victories for Mike Morgan against Ann and Steve Meredith against Harry.  Pterodactyls and CSSC Ramblers shared a tight 5-5 draw, Wayne Chopping was unbeaten for Pterodactyls with Dave White also contributing 2 wins.  Chris Hewitt won 2 matches for Ramblers with Graham Thompson and Alan Salisbury winning 1 game each.  Graham and Chris took the crucial doubles against Wayne and Dave to earn Ramblers a draw.  Manor Park Pumas also shared a 5-5 draw with Broadheath Belters despite another maximum from Brett Brining who also took the doubles with John Stalker against Jon Dyke and Geoff Woodward.  Jon and Geoff contributed 2 wins for Pumas with 1 from Dave Knowles ,Chris Field playing up from Division 2 took Belters other victory against Dave.  Despite playing with only 2 players Ledbury Rovers were still able to defeat Crackpots E 7-3 thanks to maximums from Ady Marshall and James Dance.


Division 2 Report.

Scuttling Gang maintained their title challenge with an 8-2 victory against CSSC Nomads thanks to maximums from Bill Smith and Richard McKenna including a tight 5 set doubles victory against Stephen Lindner and James Palmer.  Stephen and James earned single wins for Nomads and Ben Meredith also playing up from Division 3 contributed Scuttling Gangs other victory.  Poolbrook Dynamos defeated YMCA Vulcans 6-4 coming back from 4-1 down thanks to a maximum from Matt White and single victories from Tom James and Geoff Burford. Matt and Geoff also combined to defeat Richard Bennett and Manuel Peral in the doubles.  Simon Harrison contributed 2 victories for Vulcans with 1 win each for Richard and Manuel.  Manor Park Travellers maintained their 100% record with a 10-0 whitewash of X Police, Martin Snee, Ken Hipwell and Toby Wren continuing their fine early season form.


Division 3 Report.

Manor Park Devils and Tornados shared a tight 5-5 draw, Paul Lythgow maintained his 100% record for Devils but had to fight back from 2 sets down to defeat Andy Banks.  He also took the doubles with Ralph Cook who contributed Devils other victory.  Andy won 2 sets for Tornados together with Dominic Weston, Ethan Webb earned the draw for Tornados with victory over Denis Chetwood. Tornados followed this up with a 9-1 victory over Abbey College thanks to maximums for Andy and Ethan and 2 victories for Dominic.  Zlatin Genchev replied for Abbey College. Crackpots D maintained their challenge with a 9-1 victory against Abbeydowne with maximums from James Palmer and Bob Rhodes, Chris Burrows earned Abbeydownes sole success against Tim Dolding.  Crackpots B drew 5-5 with Poolbrook Panthers for whom Collette James achieved a notable maximum and Ewan Gear 2 wins. Ted Cates 2 and Alan Forsdike (1) and Stan Gynn (1) replied for Crackpots, Ted and Alan also taking the crucial doubles against Ewan and Jude Tyson.
