Last few days to nominate your local heroes!

It’s the last week of nominations for the Pride of Table Tennis Awards 2017 – so make sure you don’t miss your chance to nominate a deserving volunteer.

The awards seek to honour the volunteers, officials, coaches and personalities who are the heartbeat of the sport around the country.

We are looking for nominations directly into the regional and national stages of the Pride of Table Tennis Awards in any of the categories below, before the closing date of Friday, September 22.

Click here to make your nomination

  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Young Volunteer of the Year
  • Coach of the Year
  • Club of the Year
  • Technical Official of the Year
  • Partner of the Year
  • Inclusivity Award
  • Inspirational Stories
  • Contribution to Table Tennis Award

In addition, at a local level, clubs and leagues can present their own Volunteer of the Year, with all winners going forward to the appropriate category for the regional and national awards.

Why not follow the example of Loop TTC on Tyneside, where 11-year-old Sophie Richardson was recently presented with her Club Volunteer of the Year award?

If you know any individuals who have given up their time and energy to help support their club or league, whether within coaching, administration, media and press support or any other area, why not say thanks by presenting them with a local Volunteer of the Year Award and/or nominating them in one of the categories above?

The national awards will be presented at a special ceremony next year.

We are also looking for organisations which wish to sponsor one or nore of the awards – please click here for more details.
