ST PETERS A entertained MARKET RASEN RACERS in a fixture catch up match. Stephen Read for Peters had his best result of the season in beating Lesley Keast 11-8, 11-7, 8-11, 7-11, 11-9 and went past  James Keast too by 2-11, 11-8, 7-11, 11-7, 19-17 in an epic battle. Racers number one for the evening , Nik Keast, had family revenge with a win in four however.

Tony Turner was overturned by the whole Keast family, but Pete Mackie for the home team was the star player winning all his matches. The result was  a strong win for St Peter’s A by 6-4.

OLYMPIANS had the honour of a visit by Crusaders B whose star player was Paul Moore with a sole win over Olympian’s captain, Alkisti  in straight games. Jack Blyth playing at number one for the evening won all  his matches including five game wins over Paul and Duddy Dudman. Andy Wignall cruised to a maximum for the home team who won by 9-1.

KEAL MADRID took advantage of our warmer weather for a visit by the RACERS. Ian Sleight was swept aside by Nic Keast by 8-11, 10-12, 11-3, 11-8, 7-11 but eased past Dominic Batey. Finlay Keal gained a notable scalp in beating Lesley Keast by 9-11, 4-11, 11-8, 12-10, 12-10, probably a career best win for Finlay! Two wins from captain Nigel and two each from Ian and Finlay took the Madrid team to a notable 6-4 victory.
