County Trials

26th October 2012

Local players dominated the Warwickshire Junior trials held at Rugby last weekend.  Rugby’s Jesse Kendrick-Hill was the clear winner of the under 18 boys with only Colebridge’s Amit Ubhi taking him to 4. Aaron Riley of Potters Green finished 4th, Rugby’s Niall Herbert and Anshul Satsangi 5th and 6th And Free Church’s Solomon Hayes 8th.

The under 15 boys also had a clear winner in Church’s Timmy Cooper who did not drop a game. Eathorpe’s George Allison finished second with Church’s Lee Dorning 3rd. Other top 10 finishers: Adam Cofler/ Sam Weaving (both Free Church) joint 5th, Tom Harris/Kit Turner (Church) joint 9th

Adam Cofler was the emphatic winner of the under 13 boys but there was very little between those just behind with virtually every match going the distance. Jack Green grabbed 2nd, Lewis Singleton 4th, Tom Fletcher 5th and Oscar Dalrymple 6th (all Free Church)

The girls had just one (U18) category with Holly Thompson winning all her matches, though Rugby’s young duo of Emma Kilpatrick (2nd) and Milly Bradshaw (3rd) made her work for her wins. Church’s Olivia Fletcher finished 4th.
