In what was Antony's first ever competitive outing - and only Isaac's second - the boys excelled themselves against far more experienced opposition with James and Isaac winning 67% of their matches whilst Antony weighed in with 5 wins from 9 (56%).

At this year's AGM Peter Charters announced that - following in the footsteps of Tom Maynard, Richard Andrews and, most recently, Maria Tsaptsinos - Isaac Farnworth had won the Most Improved Player Award for 2011/12.

 MAY 20 2012 - This afternoon, Kingfisher capped a wonderful season by winning promotion to the UK's most prestigious competition, the British League Premier Division.

 On the table it was Josh Gallen who had the best day, picking up both the Junior Singles and Under-13 titles, whilst Leo Long won the Under-15 tournament and Jamie Liu took the Under-11 Singles.

Works has now started on the installation of the new kitchen. This requires that the water supply is cutoff for a short period.  The plumber will be on site Friday morning the 23 March and will reconnect water supply.

MARCH 11 2012 - Maria Tsaptsinos has added to her collection with gold medals in both the Cadet singles and team events at the Junior 6 Nations tournament in the Isle of Man.

Works will start shortly to install a new kitchen and provide new viewing glass panes in meeting room and social area.

This will take up to three weeks to complete and will mean disruption to all social areas. Toilets will remain in operation during the works.

Our goal is to finish first or second in Division One South-West-North and earn a place in the play-offs for a Premier Division place.   With 10 matches completed, Kingfisher are lying in second place with 15 points from a possible 20.

NOVEMBER 2011 - Many congratulations to Maria on winning her second national singles title.  Already the holder of the national Under-14 title, Maria has now taken gold in the cadets.

JULY 2011 - With a superb win over European no.23, Michaela Kerousova of the Czech Republic, Megan Knowles made the last 32 of the Cadet Girls Singles in the European Youth Championships held in Kazan, Russia, before eventually losing to Natalia Bajor of Poland.
