On November 17, 2024, the Gravesend A team hosted Ashford B in an exciting Division 2 match that showcased the talents of both teams.  

The contest began with Toks from Gravesend facing Mark from Ashford. Despite a determined effort, Toks was unable to secure any points, resulting in a 0-3 defeat. However, Esiri from Gravesend quickly turned the tide by defeating Q Chen from Ashford 3-1, providing a much-needed boost for the home team. 

Stephen then faced Luke, but unfortunately, Stephen couldn’t find his rhythm and suffered a 0-3 loss. The fourth match saw Esiri return to the table against Mark, but this time Esiri could not replicate his earlier success, losing 1-3. 

Toks took another shot against Luke, resulting in another 0-3 defeat for Gravesend, leaving them in a precarious position. The next match featured Stephen against Q Chen, and in a closely contested battle, Stephen managed to emerge victorious with a score of 3-2, demonstrating resilience and skill. 

Esiri then faced Luke, who was on fire that day. In a challenging match for Gravesend, they were unable to secure any points, losing 0-3. However, the score could have been the other way around due to several games being won by just single points. Stephen found his rhythm in the following match against Mark, winning decisively with a score of 3-0, a much-needed victory for Gravesend. 

Toks then faced Q Chen, achieving a commendable 3-1 victory, further closing the gap. The doubles match culminated in a tough outing for Gravesend, as they lost 0-3 to the Ashford pairing of Luke and Q Chen, finalizing the score at 6-4 in favor of the visiting team. 

Both teams displayed exceptional skill and sportsmanship throughout the match. Despite the loss, Gravesend showed significant improvement, particularly from Esiri and Toks, who played brilliantly and contributed to the competitive nature of the match.
