England Number 1 Senior Paul Drinkhall now ranked 34 in the world played England Number 1 Junior Helshan Weeransinghe in the final match of a fantastic evening of table tennis which featured the best players at all junior age groups in England.

World number 12 Tin Tin Ho also featured in matches played in a fantastic atmosphere of over 200 people at Eggbuckland Community College. JOOLA Plymouth is fast establishing itself as one of the top table tennis venues in the country following a thoroughly successful four day England Youth development training camp.

Wednesday evening saw 28 of our club players challenge players of all age groups in a fantastic atmosphere which also some some creditable displays from our club players. England Performance coach Nicky Jarvis was delighted by the event which enabled him to see some of his young players perform with a large audience, creating similar atmospheres that they will encounter when hopefully representing their country in the future.

A thoroughly outstanding week of table tennis included the Welsh national under 11 squad and the final tally came to over 1,000 player hours of training sessions throughout Eggbuckland Community College in the main hall, Studio, Gym and Assembly hall.

Also a great big thankyou to all our team of volunteers who helped with all the 400 plus meals for the squads during the week and created a memorable week.
