Ethan Walsh continues top

Ethan Walsh of Stevenage won the under 13 National Table tennis Championships over weekend 6th/7th June. This is the third year in a row that he has won this title and there are not many if any other payers that have done this before. He probably should have won the under 14s as well. He was seeded 3 in this latter event and beat the number 1 seed in the semis narrowly losing in the best of 5 game final having been 2-0 up and in a winning position in both the third and fourth games, eventually running out of steam having played in two events totalling 20 matches and 61 individual games over the day.

Ethan is part of the blossoming “Walsh Dynasty” living in Stevenage who are leading players in Hertfordshire. He is the top player in the UK for his age and vying for the top spot in Europe.
