A very close and enjoyable match between two evenly matched teams, in the end the match finished as a 5-5 draw.

Steve Laird won all 3 of his singles for Northchurch, closely followed by a brace for both Adeyfield's new player, Simon Coleman, and Steve's team mate, Bronwen Watson. A special note for an amazingly hard fought game between two more new boys, Chris J Ward (Northchurch) and Ellis Lloyd (Adeyfield) - playing in his first ever competitive match, with Ellis winning in the 5th set, 13-11!
