Flamstead B   4 - 6   Adeyfield B

Adeyfield B visited relegated Flamstead B, but despite having one substitute, visiting Adeyfield B were still a player short, due to work commitments and illness, however, they managed to come away with a 6-4 win.

The opening set was the closest, as Darren Roan twice went a game ahead of Martin Johnson, only for Martin to finish strongly to win in five. Adeyfield's substitute, Bob Andrews then edged the opening game against Guy Crosby, and went on to win in straight games, as Guy was increasingly hampered by an injured ankle (and indeed ended up conceded his other singles against Martin)!  Martin won in three straight games versus Shahab Shirazi, to equal up the scores on the night, but Darren Roan put the home team briefly back in front, as he quickly went two legs up, and then held off a comeback by Bob, to win close in the 4th leg. With Guy's concession, it became 4-4 on the night, and then Bob missed nothing, as he swept aside Shahab in the final singles, to put the visitors ahead for the first time. In the doubles, Martin & Bob teamed up against Darren & Shahab, and were comfortable winners, to see the away team snatch the win 6-4, and so overtake McAlpine in the League Table, and move back up to 3rd spot.
