MATCH REPORT - WEEK 3 - OCTOBER 21ST 2020

Premier Division

TT Legend stay top with 24 points with Horsham Spinners on 22 points second

On 100% averages so far are Brendon Bennett, Keigo Burnham and Rory Scott

This week TT Legends defeated Ping Panthers 7-2.   For Legends Brendon Bennett it was three including defeating Marc Burman in four, team mates Andy Walker and Stuart Vincent won two each.  Ping Panthers Marc Burman won the two.

Horsham Spinners came away 9-0 winners over Crawley Knights although Mina Matta for Knights was unlucky to lose in the fifth to Spinners Tony Rowell. It was three all round for Faldie Adams, Rory Scott and Tony Rowell.

Dynamos lost 7-2 to Hang em High. It was not as the score line suggests as four games went to four and five sets. Hang Em High saw Michael Bridger winning three, Andrew Sharland three with Graham Carter winning one. Matthew Caddy and Dennis both defeated Graham Carter 3-0 with match of the tie being Matthew vs Michael with the former going down 13-11 in the 5th.

A suprisingly one sided scoreline saw Assassins defeat Divergents 8-1. Assassins Ben Worley and Keigo Burnham both with trebles with David Champneys winning two. Michael Robinson was the only winner for Divergents.

 

Division One

Thunderbolts leaders of this division defeated Spin Masters 7-2. For Thunderbolts Three for Bob Watson and two each for Andy Foster and Andy Steel. For Spin Masters one apiece for John Bridger and Phil Tash.

In second place Pingwins had to work very hard to come away with a 6-3 win over X Men with four matches going to the wire. For Pingwins three for Brett Holt and Dave Polhill while for X Men it was one each for Peter Dunsby, Peter Caddy and Tom Christophersen.

Another hard-won match was a 5-4 win for New Avengers over Blade Runners. For Avengers two apiece for Luke Goff and Prevesh Ramnath plus the all important one from Rob Goff gain the win. For Blade Runners one for Colin Cooper and the only treble of the match was from Peter Vincent.

Final match of the evening was King Pongs Vs Spinderella’s King Pongs  came out 6-3 winners.  Three wins for Darius and Onkare. For Spinderella’s one for Chloe Robinson and one each for Annabel and Kate Bridger.
