Match Report - Week 4 - November 1st 2017
Premier Division

Shock defeats of some top premier players plus a first treble from fourteen year old John Strang. Hang Em High stay top with a 6-4 win over Dynamos. For Hang Em High the win was thanks mainly to a treble from Andrew Sharland and two from Graham Carter, surprisingly Michael Bridger could only manage one. For Dynamos former County junior Richard Cosens was in great form beating both Michael Bridger and Graham Carter.  Team mate Matthew Caddy defeated Michael Bridger then combined with Richard Cosens to win the doubles .

Assassins in second place could only draw five all with a determined Bullets team.
For Assassins the only unbeaten player in the premier, junior Keigo Burnham won all three while team mates Charlie Hough and Ben Worley won one apiece but lost the doubles to David Champneys and Joel-Del Santos. For Bullets two wins for David Champneys, one for Joel Del Santos over Ben Worley and for John Burnham a big win over Charlie Hough with David and Joel winning the doubles for the draw..

Ping Panthers had a 6-4 win over a strong Game Changers team thanks mainly to Panthers fourteen year old John Strang with his first win in the premier and a treble at that. On the way to his treble John beat Jim Skinner, Angus Ogg and Mike Day all very experienced veteran players. Team mate Alan Stone also with a treble gave Panthers the 6-4 victory.
For Game Changers  a win apiece for Jim Skinner, Mike Day and Angus Ogg with Angus and Jim winning the doubles.

Top three players in the averages Keigo Burnham, Andrew Sharland and Marc Burman.


Division One

New team St Andrews with Terry Dean, Stuart Vincent and Darius Mayhew lead the division following a maximum points  9-1 win over Spin Masters. Trebles for Terry Dean and  Stuart Vincent with Darius Mayhew with two wins. Terry and Darius also won the doubles. Spin Masters Claudio Bagaini was the lone winner defeating Darius Mayhew in four.

The newly promoted team Dark Horses with Viv Cole, Ross Knowlson and Steven Ive are in second place.
This week they defeated last seasons champions Lind field Thunderbolts 7-3
For Dark Horses Steven Ive a treble, Viv Cole two and Ross Knowlson one with Viv and Steve winning the doubles over Thunderbolts Vincent L’Estrange and David Metcalfe. For Thunderbolts two for Jim Griffin and one for David Metcalfe.

Maximum points 8-2 win for the X Men over Paddlers to put them in third place.
For X Men,  Peter Caddy a treble and  Peter Dunsby and Tom Christophersen with two apiece, The doubles went to Peter and Tom over Lyle Cyster and Samantha Stoner. For Paddlers the two wins came from Lyle Cyster.


Division Two

The top two teams Magiks and Pingwins are level with eleven points each.

Magiks proved to strong for their opponents Blade Runners this week winning 10- 0 
Trebles all round for Mel Sims, Alistair Blue and Tony Turk with Mel and Tony winning the doubles. For Blade Runners Malcolm Norwood, Adrian Sykes and Keith Johnson it was good games but little reward.

A good 8-2 win for Dangermen over Smashing Pumpkins.
For Dangermen trebles for Colin Cooper and Tony Pells who also won the doubles, Third player very much a junior Dino Draper had his first win in this division defeating Simon Howard and losing 15-17 in the third to both his other games. For Smashing Pumpkins a win apiece for Peter Vincent and Oliver Howard.

Maximum points 8-2 win for Pingwins over Cutting Edge.
Trebles for both Adam Wiseman and Paul Lewis with one win and the doubles with Paul Lewis for Rupert Browning
For Cutting Edge one win each for Freddie Wiseman and David Polhill.
