Halifax Huddersfield and Oldham elite set for battle

Some of the best local league talent in the country will lock horns in the first-ever Tri-League Super 8s.

The top talent from Halifax, Huddersfield and Oldham will go toe-to-toe in a day of high-quality action.

Eight players from each league will take part in an individual tournament that will bring some of the best local league players together.

The event will take place on Sunday, February 9th (9:30 am start).

The tournament will start with four groups of six, with two players from each league in every group.

Halifax will be represented by Sam Clayton, Richard Aitken, Ben Fillingham, Matthew Shaw, Steve Brailsford, Lewis Palmer, Alex Shaw and James Foster. Fellow Halifax League players Shaun Ellis, Russell Senior & Phil Mann are set to feature in Huddersfield's eight-person squad.

All 24 players will enter the main knockout draw, with the top two players from each group advancing straight to the last 16.

Drinks and snacks are available on the day, all spectators are welcome to attend. The address is:
