Halifax Table Tennis Centre will host the first-ever Tri-League Super 8s tournament which will see the best from Halifax, Huddersfield and Oldham lock horns in one-day of high-quality action.

Eight players from each league will take part in an individual tournament that will bring some of the best local league players together.

The event will take place on Sunday, February 9th (9:30 am start).

The tournament will start with four groups of six, with two players from each league in every group.

Once a player gets their final group position, they will then face the players who finished in the same position in the other three groups, ensuring every player gets a final position at the end of the day.

Halifax will be represented by Sam Clayton, Richard Aitken, Ian Marshall, Ben Fillingham, Matthew Shaw, Steve Brailsford, Lewis Palmer and Alex Shaw. Fellow Halifax League players Sean Ellis and Russell Senior are set to feature in Huddersfield's eight-person squad. The final line-ups for Huddersfield and Oldham will be revealed before the tournament.
