3rd March 2020 Match Reports
 Cwmbran Aztecs retained their Eastern Valley Table Tennis League Division One Title with one match to play, following their close 19-17 win over Cwmbran Preachers this week. Once again player of the match was the Aztecs' Tony Collins with 3 wins and he was well supported by Mark Edmunds and Andrew Ryder with 1 win each. For the Preachers, Dave Lloyd won 2 matches and Ray Goulding and Claire Flannagan had 1 win each.

 Runners up in Division One was confirmed by Blaenavon Aces following their 22-11 win over Cardiff Nomads. Player of the match was the Aces' Jon Allen with maximum wins and he was well supported by Ben Allen with 2 wins and Iestyn Howells with 1 win.

The final match in Division one saw Cwmbran Tigers defeat North Gwent Cougars 22-7. Player of the match was the Tigers' Michal Luckanic with 3 wins and he was well supported by Jeraze Dhanboora, also with 3 wins and Jane Reeks with 1 win. For the Cougars, there were single wins for Sam Slatter and Laura Price.

The Division Two championship race has reached an exciting climax with the title being decided by the final match of the season when the top two meet next week. Cwmbran Eccentrics are the current leaders despite their 17-18 defeat by third placed Cwmbran Lions. This match involved the top 3 individuals in Division Two and it was the Lions' guest player, Alex Jones who proved the difference with a player of the match performance, although all three players lost a match each. For the Lions' there were 2 wins each for Jones and Nigel Gore and a win for Haydn Skinner. For the Eccentrics, there were 2 wins each for John Thomas and Ian Shipley. 

Second place is held by Cwmbran Dynamos, who did not have a match this week. They will be looking to try and overhaul a eleven point difference in their final match of the season against the leaders the Eccentrics.

Bottom team North Gwent Terriers pulled off their second win in a row when they beat Cwmbran Panthers 19-17, thanks to a player of the match performance from Rhys Fidler with 3 wins. Fidler was well supported by Tommy Woodland with 1 win and Joel Price with 5 team points. 

The final match in Division Two saw Cwmbran Devils beat Cwmbran Fellows 18-11. For the Devils there were 2 wins each for Colin Scott, Finley McNeil and guest player Will Smith-Haddon. Despite being on the losing side the Fellows' Wayne Ford picked up the player of the match award with maximum wins.
